PVT Pro software is one of the software products of Mapsa Technology Center that is used for predicting reservoir fluid properties. By utilizing empirical relationships and new thermodynamic equations, along with a suitable and user-friendly graphical interface, PVT Pro has become a powerful tool for modeling reservoir fluid behavior
In the first phase of developing this software, all existing commercial software in the field of reservoir fluid modeling were thoroughly examined and tested by the experts at Mapsa Technology Center. All their strengths and weaknesses were extracted separately based on their specific subject matter. After completing the first phase, the initial version of the software was made available to experts in the oil-rich regions and industrially tested as part of a joint collaboration agreement between Mapsa Technology Center and the South Oil-Rich Regions Company. With the implementation of valuable feedback from experts in the oil-rich regions, the software was completed and unique capabilities were added. Furthermore, this software has been evaluated in companies such as Central Oil Fields, Pars Oil and Gas, Exploration Management, Natural Gas Storage, and Continental Shelf
Currently, PVT Pro software has evolved into a comprehensive modeling software for fluid properties, encompassing all the features of similar software while addressing the issues found in other software solutions
Software support in Iran includes the ability to modify the software according to domestic customer requirements, customization based on customer needs, the ability to add empirical relationships relevant to the country’s oil and gas reservoirs, online support, and remote training as part of the services provided by the PVT Pro software support team. In the National South Oil-Rich Regions Company, this software has officially replaced similar foreign software solutions. The general overview of PVT Pro software is as follows
